DeConstructed and 3D Photography
The artworks shown here are created using the DeConstructed Photography technique, a process that integrates the latest digital technologies with traditional methods. I explore my photographic images by manipulating and displacing their visual content. Specifically, with the 3D photographs, I intentionally disrupt the surface of the print, challenging the conventional boundaries of color, form, and texture. Through techniques such as hand-cutting, layering, and folding, the image's surface is restructured, creating a three-dimensional space. This process transforms the original photograph into an abstract visual fantasy, liberating it from its original confines. What once existed within the camera viewfinder becomes something entirely new, reshaped through a blend of digital, analog, and hand-crafted processes. The deconstruction of often mundane or ordinary photographic content is re-imagined through these methods, as digital manipulation and physical cutting push back against the limitations of conventional photography.
Each piece in the extended collection is either a limited edition artwork or a unique 3 dimensional piece that will never be replicated. The time-intensive nature of their creation, combined with the complexity of the materials used, makes them inherently exclusive. Furthermore, all of my works are produced with archival materials and processes and are finished with custom-made frames to ensure the highest quality and longevity.
